{"id":1160,"date":"2011-05-31T19:22:03","date_gmt":"2011-05-31T19:22:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cookhappylivehealthy.org\/blog\/?p=1160"},"modified":"2017-11-08T15:37:40","modified_gmt":"2017-11-08T15:37:40","slug":"kitchen-hope","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cookhappylivehealthy.org\/blog\/kitchen-hope\/","title":{"rendered":"Hope!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><span style=\"color:#dd2231;\">A Little Inspiration for Everyday Cooks<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Ever feel like good meals are as likely to show up on your table as $1000 checks in the mail?\u00a0 Meal making has been made out to be so hard, so difficult and so impossible.\u00a0 More than cooking skills, new gadgets and more recipes, I sometimes think what we need most is just a dose of plain old hope, i.e., a deep-rooted belief that making good, wholesome food each day is entirely doable.<\/p>\n<p>As an example, I received this email from Carol right after she had registered for a <a href=\"http:\/\/everydaygoodeating.com\/whole_kitchen_classes_description.html\">Whole Kitchen Cooking Class<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\">&#8220;Looking forward to the class. I don&#8217;t know much about cooking. I try to eat healthy but it requires WORK.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So it warmed my heart when, after class was over, Carol emailed again.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\">&#8220;Subject:\u00a0 soup!!<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\">Hey Mary,\u00a0 Just wanted to share with you that I made the tastiest healthy soup this evening using leftover chicken breasts and good veggies from the fridge. It was quick, easy, and delicious, and I couldn&#8217;t have done it before your class.
