But do I think you&#8217;re making them all? Not at all!<\/p>\n<p>So what good are recipes and why do I keep sharing them? In a word: Inspiration!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p>If you should make one of my recipes, that&#8217;s great&#8211;and please let me know! But if you don&#8217;t, it doesn&#8217;t hurt my feelings. Because I only hope to provide you with inspiration to make something&#8211;anything&#8211;healthy.<\/p>\n<p>The fact is, I rarely make the recipes that come my way. For example, the last post&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/cookhappylivehealthy.org\/blog\/recipe-cucumber-dill-soup\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Cucumber Dill Soup<\/span><\/a> was inspired by a recipe in our local paper. Because it was far too complicated for everyday meal making, I used it merely as inspiration, streamlining and adapting it for my tastes.<\/p>\n<p>I shared my version of the soup recipe with the hope that it will spark an urge to do something with this season&#8217;s cucumbers&#8211;or even just make any other kind of soup. For instance, you might:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Make a salad with cucumbers<\/li>\n<li>Drag out and make your time-tested refrigerator pickles recipe<\/li>\n<li>See the dill in the title and remember the earlier ideas for <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"https:\/\/cookhappylivehealthy.org\/blog\/recipe-pistou-redux-with-fresh-dill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dill Pistou<\/a><\/span> , <a href=\"https:\/\/cookhappylivehealthy.org\/blog\/recipe-simple-simple-spring-flavors-dilled-carrots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Dilled Carrots and Dilled White Fish<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Slice a cucumber and eat with a little salt and\/or lemon<\/li>\n<li>Do an internet search on cucumber soup and find another version that better appeals to your taste buds<\/li>\n<li>Make some other kind of soup because you haven&#8217;t had soup in a while<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Maybe you&#8217;ll even just get inspired to make some other recipe you clipped, copied or downloaded.<\/p>\n<p>Let yourself be open to an inspirational spark&#8211;and then follow it to a lovely, tasty and healthy meal!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Need more inspiration?<\/strong> There are at least a billion recipes on the Internet, but in case you&#8217;d like a more curated collection, search this blog.
