But top with a splash of cream,whipped cream or even ice cream and it will please the regular dessert crowd, too.<\/p>\n<p>Roasted pears can also be used to top other foods. I used them on buckwheat pancakes and hearty whole grain toast.<\/p>\n<p>Best of all, roasted pears are super easy: Core, slice, toss with butter and a sprinkle of nutmeg then bake!
